We all get stuck once in a while

We at the WFHS are experts in this field, with many years experience of research. Whether its tracing families, houses, or long lost relations we can help you.

We know how costly travel to different repositories can be so our charges are designed to be affordable and not to break the bank. We have been running this for over 25 years and it has proved very popular indeed.

What you need to send us

We are you to send details of what you know and what records you have already looked at.

Have you got the right family?

Please make it clear what, if anything, has been done online especially via someone's tree. We spend many lost hours amending trees done by this method. We will first send you details and advice on what we think should be done next.

Research

What do we look at? Anything! Registers, criminals, poor law papers, apprenticeships, electoral rolls, pre-1858 wills, land documents, manor documents, to name but a few.

We all know that trees online are to be treated with caution so we also correct any dubious material you may have found online and are unsure about.

A full genealogy report is supplied.
